Friday's Foto Finish Fiesta

I love this top photograph for so many reasons, let me count the ways.

1. My husband David (insert heavy sigh here) doesn't just spend time with our children, he enjoys spending time with our children.

2. David built not just one swing set, but a pair of matching swingsets because he felt it would be sturdier and safer for the kids.

3. The topic of discussion doesn't really matter, when our children speak David listens.

4. This photograph wasn't posed, that is what real life looks like at our house. If the photo would have been taken from further away, you would have noticed he just got home from work and his truck and lunch box were parked in the driveway just west of the swingset.

The second picture is posted entirely for my benefit. Each time I go in and add another player to Fx4 I can get a quick glimpse of those giant carpenter forearms that are ready to hug me at any given minute.

And as long as I have everyone's attention, assuming that I really do, I just want to sincerely thank everyone that shows up over here, rain or shine, and shares their phavorite photos!
